This morning Harrison, his friend and I were off to the Homer Farmer’s Market for some fresh goodies and organic veggies. The market was busy this morning, probably because it was so beautiful out. The boys picked out tomatoes and snap peas for snacks on our road trip. What good choices!
So off we went…… we are following the Cayuga County Sweet Treat Trail and had picked 3 places to stop today. So we drove up towards Locke and Moravia. Unfortunately we soon proved lost (anyone who knows me knows that this is not unusual). I check the map on the brochure and the map on the pass and they were different! After trying to make heads or tails of it we decided to head home and call the Cayuga County office before we set out again.
So home we went. The boys went into the pool to cool off and I checked the garden and plants. What a joy it was to see that the lilies were in bloom! The are my favorite flowers and was so glad to see that they have come up.
I hope that they stay out for while this summer for all to enjoy. I think maybe I will plant some more bulbs in the same area for next year.
Now it is just Sedona and I at home catching up on Call the Midwife on the Apple TV. Good night everyone.
